In January 1943, French and German
police cooperate in Marseilles in arresting Jews and undesirables; 782 Jews are
arrested. They will be sent to the internment camp in Compiègne, close
to Paris, then transferred to Drancy, and deported from there on
convoy 52 of March 23, 1943. None will
survive.
