In January 1943, French and German police cooperate in Marseilles in arresting Jews and undesirables; 782 Jews are arrested. They will be sent to the internment camp in Compiègne, close to Paris, then transferred to Drancy, and deported from there on convoy 52 of March 23, 1943. None will survive.
