Francis BLOCH was born in Lille (Nord)
on April 28, 1934. He and his parents, Julien and Flora, were arrested in Brive
(Corrèze) and deported on March 7, 1944, on
convoy 69. He is shown here at three
different ages. The bottom photograph is a class picture taken in 1941 at the
Cabanis school in Brive-la-Gaillarde. His teacher, Mr. Fromonteil, tried in
vain to oppose his arrest. |
