Edmond BLOCH was shot in 1944. His wife,
Jeanne, was deported on convoy 77 of July
31, 1944, with her three children: Simone, age 18, and Lison, 16, both
of whom survived; and Michel, 13. The latter had been separated from his
sisters and was with his mother when they were both designated for the gas
chambers. They were arrested at Beauges (Savoie), in eastern France. |
