She was deported on February 10, 1944, on convoy 68 with her mother, Ruchla, and her brother Bernard, age 17, who survived. Their older brother, David, was also 17 when he was deported on convoy 7 of July 19, 1942, and their sister Sosia, 18, on convoy 9. Bernard's picture could not be found.
