Egon-Heinrich GAMIEL was born on May 18, 1934,
in Argenschwang, Germany, the only son of Ernest and Gertrude Gamiel. He had
been sent to the childrens home in Izieu. His parents were deported in August
1942 on convoy 20, after having been interned in the Milles camp and handed
over to the Nazis by Vichy. Egon was deported on convoy
71 of April 13, 1944. |
