Myriam KLARFELD was born on June 24, 1930, in Paris; and her sister Yvette on April 23, 1939, also in Paris. The family lived at 10 rue Béranger in Vincennes, a suburb of Paris, and was arrested during the Vel d'Hiv roundup. Their father, Israel, who had been arrested and deported on convoy 6, survived. Their mother, Chaja, and the two little girls were sent to Auschwitz on convoy 26 of August 31, 1942.
