The parents were deported with the two oldest, Marguerite, age 23, and Claire, 20, on convoy 15 of August 2, 1942. Renée, age 13, born in Paris, was taken on convoy 16 of August 7; Jeannette, 18, on convoy 27 of September 2; and Henri, 15, born in Strasbourg, on convoy 34 of September 18.
