Francis LEVY (in front) was born on
July 27, 1926, in Maisons-Laffitte near Paris. He was arrested in
Jacob-Bellecombette (Savoie) in southeastern France. His parents, Georges and
Simone, as well as his sister Eliane, age 22, were deported from Angers on July
20, 1942, on convoy 8. Another sister, Maud, born on November 28, 1928,
was deported on convoy 36 of September 23,
1942. He followed them on convoy 71 of
April 13, 1944. |
