Maurice (Mose) LEVY was born on May 2, 1928, in Lyons, where he lived at 62 rue Georges Gouy (7th arr.). He was deported on February 3, 1944, on convoy 67.

Doris LEWY, born on January 24, 1943, in Toulouse (Haut-Garonne), was deported when she was 15 months old on convoy 72 of April 27, 1944. By that time she had a 3-month-old baby sister, Nicole, born on January 12, 1944, in Toulouse. No pictures of Nicole remain. Doris and Nicole were deported with their father, their maternal grandparents, and their maternal great grandmother. This was a unique case of four generations deported together.
