Claude and Michèle NAXARA were
born near Bordeaux in Pessac (Gironde), where they lived at 16 rue des Poilus.
They were 5 and 8 years old, respectively. They were arrested with parents and
grandparents Charles, Simone, Anas, Aminthe, and Angèle, during the
Vichy police's big roundup of Bordeaux Jews the night of January 10-11, 1944.
All were interned in the big Bordeaux synagogue and then transferred to Drancy.
They were deported on convoy 66 of January
20, 1944. |
