She was 17 when she was deported on convoy 13 of July 31, 1942, with her father and her 19-year-old sister, Perla. Her brother Bernard, born in Paris, was 6 years old when he was taken on convoy 21 of August 19, 1942. Their mother was deported on convoy 16 of August 7, 1942.
