Renée PRZEDBORZ was born on December 17, 1928, in Metz (Moselle). She was arrested with her aunt Henriette (back row left) while they were trying to cross the demarcation line. Transferred to Pithiviers, they were deported on convoy 35 of September 21, 1942. Behind Renée in this 1939 photograph are her parents: her mother, Brandla, was deported on convoy 11 and her father, Icek, on convoy 40. Her brother Jacques (on the left) survived, as did Henriette's husband (next to her). The family lived at 47 rue des Telliers in Rheims.
