| The whole SCHORR family were victims of the
Vel d'Hiv roundup. Their father, Wilhelm, was deported on convoy 14 of August
3, 1942, and their mother, Sidonie, on convoy 16 of August 7. Claire,
age 11, Madeleine, 7 and Joseph, 8, all born in Paris, were
deported on convoy 20 of August 17. Last of
all, Isaac, 12, also born in Paris, was deported on
convoy 24 of August 26, 1942. The only
pictures left are of Isaac and Joseph. |
