Frajda SZABASON, the mother of the family, was the first one to be deported after the Vel d'Hiv roundup on convoy 14 of August 3, 1942. Her son Eddy, born in Paris on April 20, 1931, followed her on convoy 20 of August 17, 1942. Her daughter Hélena, born in Buenos Aires on December 3, 1927, was arrested by Parisian police in January, 1944, when the Gestapo received the green light from Berlin to deport Argentinian Jews. She was deported on convoy 68 of February 10, 1944. The family lived at 158 rue St-Maur in Paris (10th arr.).
