He was a pupil at the Charlemagne lycée in Paris. His sister Frajda was born on May 28, 1928; she was deported on August 7, 1942, on convoy 16 with her mother. Frajda was a pupil at the school on rue des Quatre Fils. The family lived in Paris at 29 rue Charlot (3rd arr.).
