Jankel WODOWSKI, the father of the family, was deported on convoy 3. His wife, Cywya (Sylva), was arrested with her children at the Marquisats Hotel in Annecy (Haute-Savoie) on November 16, 1943. The children, Régine, born on September 12, 1932, and Félix, born on April 25, 1937, both in Paris, were deported with her on convoy 62 of November 20, 1943. A teacher's comments on little Félix, age 6, were found in the archives of the Jules Philippe primary school in Annecy: Excellent pupil, very alert, a lively intelligence. Has done very good work. Taken with his Jewish parents by German soldiers.
