Thérèse Zaborowski

Raymonde Zaborowski

Téméra ZABOROWSKI and her five nephews and nieces were victims of the Vel d'Hiv roundup and were all deported on convoy 20 of August 17, 1942: Thérèse, age 11; Raymonde, 8; Rolande, 6; Micheline, 3; and Marcel, 2. We have no pictures of Rolande. The children's father, Meyer, died in 1941; after his first wife died in 1937, he had married his wife's sister. Paul, the oldest of the children, was absent the day of the roundup and was the only survivor.
