          Marguerite-Gisèle JANKELEVITCH was 12 years old; her brother Claude was 8. Both were born in Paris, where they lived at 55 rue Damrémont (18th arr.). They were arrested during the Vel d'Hiv roundup with their mother, Zlata, who was deported first. They were sent off on convoy 21 of August 19, 1942. Their older sister sent us the following distressing account:
