Nonnique TUCHKLAPER was born on July 8, 1926,
in Paris. Nonnique (Henri) was an especially courageous leader in Francs
Tireurs et Partisans (FTP), a resistance group. He was shot in
Mont-Valérien in Suresnes near Paris on October l , 1943, having been
condemned to death by the German military tribunal. His sister Marie,
born on July 19, 1928, had been deported on convoy 16 of August 7, 1942. The family lived at 152 rue du
Chemin-Vert (11th arr.). There are no photos of Henri and Marie. Their
friend and fighting companion, Victor Zigelman, drew from memory the face of
Nonnique Tuchklaper at age 17. |
