| In convoy 70 of
March 27, 1944, were two HEILIKMAN children and three HAJLIGMAN children. They
were cousins and all were arrested in Nice. The Hajligmans came from Poland and
the Heilikmans from Germany, hence the different spelling of the same family
name. In this picture are the HAJLIGMANS: Maurice, age 15; and
Marie, 13; both born in Warsaw; and their little sister, Lucie,
3, born in Paris. They were arrested at 7 boulevard de la Madeleine in
Nice. |
