Madeleine and Denise
BIMBAD were deported with their mother in 1944 to Bergen-Belsen on
convoy 80, and all three returned. This was
the case for most children in this exceptional category the ones sent
late to Bergen-Belsen, where the deportees were treated differently from those
in Auschwitz. Both girls were born in Paris, where they lived at 19 rue Pouchet
(17th arr.). |

Evelyne and Henny DACHS returned
from deportation with their mother. Evelyne was born in 1939 in Paris; Henny,
in 1941 in Toulouse. They were deported on convoy 81 of July 30, 1944, which left from Toulouse. |
