Henri ISRAELOWICZ was born on May 17, 1933, in Paris, where he lived at 77 rue du Poteau (19th arr.). He was deported on August 17, 1942, on convoy 20 with his brother Maurice, age 3. 
















 
          Simon IGEL was born on August 18, 1927, in Zolkiew, Poland. His parents, Janta and Marcus, his brothers Ménassé and Joseph, ages 18 and 17, respectively, were deported from Pithiviers on convoy 6 of July 17, 1942, after having been arrested in Auxerre (Yonne), southeast of Paris. Simon was arrested in Saint-Etienne (Loire) at 28 rue Beaubrun and deported on October 7, 1943, on convoy 60. He was the only member of his family to survive.
