On December 7, 1943,
convoy 64 carried off almost all of the
MOTYKA family to Auschwitz: the father, Chil; the mother, Perla; and
three girls; Marie, age 21, Marguerite, 17, and Blima, 13, all
born in Paris. A son, Paul, age 18, had already been deported; the other son,
Charles, is the only one to have escaped arrest. The family lived at 37 rue
Alphonse Karr in Paris (19th arr.). |
