| Zelda OSTROWSKI was born on January 28, 1925,
in Paris. She was deported on November 9, 1942, on
convoy 44 with her sister Rebecca,
age 15, and their brother Emmanuel, 4. The oldest boy, Jacob, 18, had
been deported on convoy 26. Their parents, Rachel and Simon, were also
deported. The municipality of Meudon, west of Paris, where they lived in
Sentier de la Roue, has put up a plaque in their memory. |
