Pierre

This picture shows a group of people interned in the Ecrouves center, an assembly camp in Lorraine in a suburb of Toul (Meurthe-et-Moselle). Many Jews from Lorraine spent time there before being sent west to Drancy, and then east to Auschwitz.
This picture shows Pierre REBLAUB (seated, third from left), born on March 21, 1929, in Ingwiller in Alsace; he lived at 1 rue Jean Vinot in Rambervillers (Vosges). Behind him, with a white collar, is his mother, Fernande. They (and probably many of the others shown in the picture) were deported on convoy 57 of July 18, 1943.
