Jacques, Raymond, Blanche and Claudine                            Blanche and Claudine                    

These are the four children of Abraham and Renée SAMUEL. Three of them perished with their parents, deported on convoy 71 of April 13, 1944. Only Jacques, the oldest of the boys, survived. Blanche, age 24, died in Bergen-Belsen on May 9, 1945. Raymond, age 13, and Claudine, 7, born in Rambervillers (Vosges), were killed upon arrival in Auschwitz. They were arrested in Rambervillers, where they lived at 19 rue des Remparts.
