Joseph WACHOLDER was born in Tel Aviv on April 20, 1928. He lived in Paris at 131 rue des Pyrénées (20th arr.). He was deported with his mother Dasza, on convoy 15 of August 5, 1942.

Yvette WAJSBROD was born on June 1 1 , 1928, in Paris, where she lived at 36 rue des Appenins (17th arr.). Her brother writes: "My parents, who wanted to reduce the risk of our whole family of four children getting arrested, put us in different places: my oldest brother with a woodcutter in the Fontainebleau forest, myself, the younger boy, on a farm in the region of Mantes-la-Jolie [Yvelines]; my sister Yvette with a midwife in Paris, whose alcoholic husband supposedly informed against her and the French police took her away. My sister Hélène was hidden in a Catholic convent. My parents were not deported. Only my sister Yvette was deported and she did not return." She was deported on convoy 61 of October 28, 1943.
