Simone and Willy ZWIRN were refugees from Belgium, born in Antwerp, she on June 21, 1931, and he on March 2, 1936. Arrested by the police in the train in Tarascon (Bouche-du-Rhône), near Avignon, and interned in the Bompard Hotel in Marseilles, they were transferred with their mother, Kreindel, to the Milles camp. They were then handed over to the SS in Drancy, Willy directly, Simone and her mother via Rivesaltes. Willy was deported on convoy 30 of September 9, 1942, and Simone and her mother on convoy 33 of September 16, 1942.
