In this picture taken in 1938 during an outing in the Vincennes woods are several children from the apartment house at 5/7 rue Corbeau in Paris (10th arr.). On the far left, first row, is Salomon JUSKIEWIEZ, born on November 22, 1934; on the far left, second row, is Charles JUSKIEWIEZ, born on September 9, 1932. They were deported with their mother on convoy 46 of September 9, 1943, along with 12 other children from that building who were deported with their mothers (and two of the fathers). In the second row, the second from the right is Ida WOSKI, born on May 2, 1930, in Warsaw. She was deported on convoy 20 of August 17, 1942, a convoy that carried a majority of children, like her, separated from their parents who had already been deported. Ten children from 5/7 rue Corbeau were on convoy 20; four of them were deported with their mother, Rosa Rozencwajg.
