Finding a detonator, the technician had traffic cut off for fifteen minutes at the corner of boulevard Exelmans and me Chardon-Lagache. Then with a hacksaw he cut into the bottom and the side of the box in order to empty it. Inside were more than a half pound of nails and enough explosive to blow to bits whoever opened the box and anyone near him. I registered a complaint, but there was hardly anything to go on."
