First of all, the Bible was written in Hebrew and Aramaic.  Any word for "moon" must be translated in order to prove that it does, in fact refer to the same moon that scientists assert today: to wit, a 74,000,000,000,000,000,000 ton piece of lifeless rock orbiting the earth in a circular (or concave oval, depending on who you ask) orbit 240,000 miles from the earth.  Curiously, all such translators come from the same controlled academic institutions that brought us the moon myth to begin with.

Now, lets look at your little passage:

"And the sun stood still, and the moon halted, until the people had taken vengence on their enemies."
(Joshua 10:30, New Jerusalem Bible)

And you consider this a reliable testimony to the existence of the moon?  You are obviously not up on Moon Believer dogma.  Even Lunarists would say that such an event is physically impossible and could not have happened.  Thus this reference to the so-called moon, which is in clear contradiction of the physical evidence and the laws of nature, must be discarded.
