The NATO aviation made a terrible massacre of the civilians in the town Aleksinac,
because of which this town and the whole of Serbia are now in mourning. Not a single
military target was hit in this town, since there is no such target in it. Nothing is left
of the town center. Is has been turned into rubbles, broken glass, and ashes, with cries
lingering in the air above the bodies of those that were killed in this NATO attack.
Whole families were killed, houses were destroyed, as well as the shopping mall, some
business buildings and two apartment buildings. The first missile struck the center of
Aleksinac, its target being the local dispensary, the emergency ward and two neighboring
houses and its tenants inside. The second and third missile demolished the shopping mall
and the two apartment buildings. There had been 24 private houses in the street, which are
now just piles of rubble. Whole families were killed, among them children.
The installations of the factory EMPA, which is located in the industrial zone of the
town, have been severely demolished and the damage is huge.
For the first time the central areas of Serbia have been struck too. One missile hit
the television transmitter on peak Crni Vrh, and others struck the transmitters on
mountains Jastrebac, Kopaonik, Gole, and Mokra Gora. NATO bombers also threw their
bombs on the radio and television transmitter located on one of the peaks of Mt. Zlatibor
damaging the houses in the village Stubla. The criminal NATO aviation again struck
Ni, whereby two houses in the vicinity of the local airport have been leveled to the
ground. In this attack our air defense neutralized two projectiles and shot down one enemy
aircraft.
The town Vranje has been attacked for the second time, this time with five missiles.
Many houses, firms and certain departments of the local hospital have been damaged in this
attack, while several houses were completely destroyed. Three missiles were launched on
the military barracks in Surdulica, severely damaging them and badly damaging the nearby
houses and elementary school.
NATO also attacked Toplica and the town Kurumlija with its suburbs, which have
been the target of enemy projectiles for the third time. This time the NATO criminals
targeted the bridge in Toplica, which is on the major communication and in the vicinity of
the town, as well as the bridge on the railroad section Ni - Kosovo Polje. Both
bridges are damaged and no traffic is allowed across them now. Eight projectiles were
directed onto the northwest end of the town Prokuplje, destroying the main road Prokuplje
- Kurumlija, the railroad and the fuel depot. The NATO fascists also attacked
communications in the village Vitanovac, near Kraljevo, and they launched three
projectiles on the military barracks in the suburb Jarcujak, simultaneously damaging
several houses.
They also operated in the area of the village Lozna, near the town Raka, whereby
they damaged the railway bridge.
In the morning hours Pancevo was again the target of the bloodthirsty aggressors. This
time the northern part of the town was targeted causing great damage since several houses
and summer cottages were destroyed.
During the same night the towns in Kosovo and Metohija were struck too. The criminals
launched more than 20 projectiles against Pritina. One of the projectiles exploded
over the village Brod, inhabited by the Goranci minority, where there are no military
targets at all. Gnjilani and Pec were targeted too. One projectile, which luckily didn't
explode, fell on the suburb of Kosovska Mitrovica.
The NATO aviation again struck the area around Belgrade, namely Pancevo, Borca, Zemun,
Avala, Bezanijska Kosa, and Surcin. The air defense responded strongly to this attack of
the aggressor.
The NATO criminals launched 23 projectiles onto the town Ni. Again they targeted
both military and civilian targets in its industrial zone and in the southwest end of the
town, inflicting severe damage. The airport has again been their target, but also the
tobacco plant DIN and the part of the town where the university, high school and technical
school are located. The southwest part of the town is severely damaged and there isn't a
house that hasn't been struck. The factory Jastrebac, which produces pumps, the factories
Globsignal and Skretnica, producing machines, the firm MIN, the warehouses of several
major firms in the town, and some other objects have been damaged in this raid. The main
coach station in Ni has been damaged too.
Cacak and its suburbs have again been the target of the NATO fascists. The factory
Sloboda has been targeted for the fourth time while the chemical plant Milan Blagojevic,
in Lucani, was targeted for the second time. It took the firefighters several hours to
extinguish the fire that broke out, and there are fears that there have been casualties.
Again the criminals attacked the Novi Sad refinery, trying to destroy what they hadn't
managed in their previous attacks. This time they struck the Naftagas promet installations
on the banks of the channel Danube-Tisa-Danube. The air defense struck several aircraft.
Strong detonations and air defense fire were heard in the central areas of the region
Srem. Three projectiles hit the town Sremska Mitrovica. These projectiles fell within the
military barracks grounds and the detonations damaged the nearby houses and injured some
civilians in them. The air defense managed to shoot down a NATO plane.
Again the aggressor targeted the fuel depot near Sombor, where one projectile caused a
huge fire. The powerful detonations damaged the houses in the outskirts of the town.
The Beopetrol fuel depot was hit during the air raid over Pritina and the
Pritina airport in Slatina was again bombed. The criminals also struck the urban
quarters of Pritina, tearing down several buildings. The exact number of casualties
is not known yet.
Five detonations were heard in the area of Podgorica and only civilian targets were
hit, they being: the railroad Belgrade-Bar was destroyed on its section on the slopes of
hill Smokvica, the aluminum plant was struck too as well as the Republic Seismology
Institute, which is situated on the hill Ljubic. According to the explosions that were
heard NATO most likely used cluster bombs.
The air defense shot down two fighter planes above Mt. Fruka Gora and two
aircraft, which later landed in the region of Tetovo, were hit. One other aircraft was hit
near Vucitrn, as well as two rescue helicopters that had gone for the pilots.
Enraged because their plans have gone wrong the NATO aggressor aviation plunged with
full power on military, but even with greater power on civilian targets. Novi Sad was hit
with 4 missiles; the town heating plant in the quarter angaj, which is located on
the river Danube bank, was struck, as well as the Novi Sad refinery installations that
produce bitumen. The missile explosions caused a horrific fire, and with great efforts an
ecology catastrophe and the spreading of the fire onto the surrounding houses was
prevented. People living within 100 km around this installation were coughing and choking
from the thick black sticky smoke spreading into the environment.
The enemy aircraft also launched their missiles on the third bridge in Novi Sad, the
concrete one, but their attempt to destroy this one too was futile.
In the night between 5th and 6th April several targets in the region of western Backa
were also struck by the NATO fascists. The fuel depots of NIS Naftagas promet in the
vicinity of the town Sombor were targeted for the second time. The bridge over the Danube
between Bogojevo and Erdut was also destroyed, although at the time of the attack there
was traffic on it.
In the evening hours Ni was attacked for the fourth time. Its airport was again
targeted as well as the industrial zone. Three missiles were launched on the urban area of
Aleksinac, on its streets with houses and shops. As a result of the explosions a fire
broke out in which several citizens were injured, but it was put under control soon after.
The fascist criminals have no respect for God or for what is sacred to others. In their
first raids the cemetery Lece, in Belgrade, had been their target, while last night
they hit the village cemetery Hajnovac. On Easter they also struck the 100 years old
Albanian cemetery.
The enemy aviation also bombed Gucevo, a mountain above the towns Loznica and Banja
Koviljaca.
