So many voices competing
Since the beginning of time,
God is his alone, each one insists,
And only he owns truth.
Apparently truth is sold in the market place
To the one who pays,
Screams, hates and lies the most.
All others are wrong, they slander and cheat,
And face eternal damnation
If they do not believe.
Leaders throughout time claim to be more,
Know more then God,
Damn, often kill,
All that dare differ in their ways,
And preach hate, inequality, injustice and death
In His name.
I wish religions and governments understand:
BEFORE GOD AND PEOPLE -
ALL PEOPLE ARE EQUAL.
It's easy to speak with authority,
Controlled by ignorance and hate,
About creation, humanity,
Things and thoughts unknown.
It's easy to speak with certainty, arrogance,
And verbal violence
About the Creator of the universe.
The crimes against my people,
Committed time and again
For two thousand years,
I now understand.
Religious and political leaders,
In the name of God,
Made us symbols of hate to kill
And serve the state.
The Vatican never understood us in the past,
Nor do they understand us today.
THIS CENTURY ALONE THEY SACRIFICED
SIX TO SEVEN MILLION OF MY PEOPLE
ON THE ALTAR OF HATE.
They have no right to deny me even the thought,
That God may also be mine.
Their glorious ceremonies, chants, incense,
Rituals and costumes are the best of all
And mine are less than dirt, they say.

After all, the Vatican claims without proof,
With hate,
I KILLED GOD!
Justice, why do you hide
Your battered face in shame,
When I have been bloodied,
Accused, condemned
And cursed in mock trials,
Based on religious writings,
And truth twisted beyond recognition
For one execution on the cross by the Romans
In Jerusalem about 1900 years ago?
Only the Vatican knows the truth, they insist.
I know their truth is a myth.
The Vatican, Rome, taught the world
A tradition of hate,
Separation, injustice and inequality
For 1700 years,
Ever since in God's name instigated
Wars, misery and death,
Not to only against us, but against
All Christians who differ in their ways.
The Vatican insists no one else has the right
To speak to and for God.
The responsibility for the Holocaust
Belongs to the Vatican alone.
For revenge they spread hate, lied and killed
For 1700 years and declared ever
Since with great fanfare:
I KILLED GOD!
God and truth cleared my ancestors of a crime
We did not commit.

I do not understand, it makes no sense,

One evening during Atonement Services
In my synagogue,
I closed my eyes and asked:

A voice came into my mind and said:

To bestow on them all the riches of the world
And on us, to this day, early, painful deaths?"

Justice, where do you hide in shame?

They insist I killed the Lord!

Of the 20th century were deadly indeed.
Unending religious intolerance, arrogance,
Blind nationalistic and ethnic hate,
Too many millions killed before their time,
I wish, I wish, I wish, oh how I wish
For the right in peace to live!
I wonder, what was, still is, my crime?
This late I know my wish is but a dream,
A shimmering cloud I can not touch,
Floating aimlessly around the moon
In the darkness of the night,
An illusion, with no substance,

Where is GOD'S place
In this equation of lies and slander,

Was GOD ever, face to face, asked

"Is hate and killing to honor YOU just?"

For six to seven million dead are but a sham,
An attempted cover up, to deny in time,
That the Holocaust ever happened.
