In convoy 63 of
December 17, 1943, were Jacques ATTAS and his mother, Victoria. Both
were born in Marseilles, she in 1916 and he on September 29, 1941. He was 2
years old when he was arrested and deported. His 6-year-old sister, Solange,
was at school at the time. She was hidden in a children's home, Le Val Joyeaux
(The Happy Valley), in the Hautes-Alpes. |
