Henri SEVELEVICI, was born in Paris (12th arr.) on August 23, 1938. His mother, arrested with him during the Vel d'Hiv roundup, was deported first on convoy 16 of August 7, 1942. Henri followed on convoy 26 of August 31, 1942.


Marcel (Baruch-Mordka) SEROKA was 17 when he was deported on August 14, 1942, on convoy 19. He was born in Minsk-Mazowiecki, in what is now Belarus. He lived at 3 rue de l'Est in Paris (20th arr.). His brother Nathan, age 16, left with him. Nathan was the only one of this convoy of a thousand people to return.
