| Fred VENTURA was born in Paris on August 20,
1926, and his brother Henri on May 22, 1931. Their home was in Paris at
3 rue Léon Vaudoyer (16th arr.), but the war had brought them to
Nice, where they lived at 52 rue Vernier. They were arrested trying to cross
over into Spain, and were transferred by the Gestapo to Drancy. From there they
were deported on February 11, 1943, on convoy
47. |
