| Charles ZAJTMAN was deported on August 11,
1944, from Lyons on convoy 78. He was born
on December 20, 1933, in Paris. Not yet 11, he was undoubtedly the youngest
survivor of all the people deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau. His brother Henri,
age 19, did not survive deportation on that same convoy. |
