Badaroux is a village in Lozère where the RAJCHNUDEL family had taken refuge. The family included Jacqueline, age 14; Marcelle, 10; Jean-Claude, 7; and Claudine, 3; their mother, Arunka; and their father, who was a tailor. A fifth child, Eliane, was born in Mende (Lozère) on June 23, 1943. The mother and her five children were deported on convoy 69 of March 7, 1944.
