| Abraham (Arnold) and Germaine HELFAND
were arrested in October 1942 in Festalemps (Dordogne), in south-central
France, shortly after this photo was taken. They were deported with their
mother, Ida, on convoy 46 of February 9,
1943. Abraham was born in Lodz, Poland, and was 12 years old. Germaine, born in
Metz (Moselle), was 5. |
