| Gilles HAARBLEICHER was born on October 13,
1926, in Paris; he lived at l rue Octave Feuillet (16th arr.). He was
arrested at the Janson de Sailly lycée as his class was studying for
entry to the Polytechnical School. He was taken with his father (who was
director of the Merchant Marine, state counselor, and officer of the Legion of
Honor), his mother, and his grandmother to Drancy. They were deported from
there on convoy 72 of April 29, 1944. |
