| May 1942: in the Vincennes woods, "Jacques' gang."
The girl in a bathing suit is Sarah KERSZENFELD, and the second from the
right is her sister Rachel. Both were born in Frankfurt. Rachel was 16
years old and Sarah, 14, when they were deported on
convoy 15 of August 5, 1942. Their younger
sister Charlotte and their brothers Siegfried and Henri
were deported on convoy 22. |
