Bohr, Heisenberg and the A-bomb
The Jerusalem Post has an interesting story about the whether the famous physicist Werner Heisenberg assisted or sabotaged the Nazi attempt to build the atomic bomb. A Danish scholar has discovered a letter from the Danish scientist Niels Bohr indicating that he might have been somewhat more enthusiastic about the project than previously believed.

Welcome to the new and redesigned holocaust-info.dk!
This site originally started as a resource in Danish for those interested in countering holocaust-denial, but has gradually evolved more and more into an archive of materials related, - not to the the denial of the hocaust - but the holocaust itself. Along with the introduction of especially the photographic material of the extermination camps the number of visitors to this site rose dramatically. However, the bulk of this traffic has primarily been coming from abroad and in particular the US. Therefore I have now switced to using English entirely on this site, and relocated the Danish materials to a sub-menu. Occasional additions of material in Danish will still take place, but the bulk of the material including the updates will from now on be in English.

Furthermore, a new system for posting news has been implemented (courtesy of the nice folks at Blogger) which should hopefully ensure a more frequent posting of news related to the holocaust and the denial thereof.

I hope you find the new layout useful. If you have any comments, critique or questions please do send it over.

Interview (in Danish) with Torben Jørgensen
DR has published an interview with Torben Jørgensen from the Danish Centre for Holocaust and Genocide Studies in the program "Koplevs Krydsfelt". The interview is primarily about the evolvement of the genocidal policies of the Third Reich, and the workings of the extermination machinery. I've had the priviledge of visiting several extermination camps in Poland twice with Torben and he is an extremely intelligent and knowledgeable fellow. Unfortunately for non-Danish speakers the interview isn't translated.

Demjanjuk was earlier extradited to Israel where he was charged of being "Ivan the Terrible" a guard at Treblinka. These charges were dropped, but evidence has surfaced that he did perform guard duties in Sobibor.
