The disgraced author David Irving yesterday lost a last ditch attempt to stave off the seizure of his home after the disastrous libel case which left his reputation in shreds.

Danish government select 27th of January as Holocaust-memorial day
The date of the liberation of Auschwitz, 27th of January, has been chosen as the official Holocaust-memorial day - or "Auschwitz-day" - in Denmark. To instate a such memorial day was proposed more than a year ago by the leader of the Christian People's Party, Jann Sjursen, and the decision was formally announced by Danish PM Anders Fogh Rasussen on 1st of May.

A 65-page except of the brilliant new book The Case for Auschwitz by Prof. Robert Jan Van Pelt is available online on the homepage of the author. The book deals with the claims of Holocaust-deniers regarding Auschwitz, based on the evidence presented to the court by the author in the defamation-suit brought to the high-court by the Holocaust-denier David Irving.
