Selection of Poles eligible for Germanization
Among the people of alien (not German) nationality in the annexed
Eastern territories as well as in the General Government, there are often such
who are eligible for Germanization on the basis of their racial suitability. I,
therefore, ordered that a selection of the racially most valuable families of
Nordic nature be made, according to directives issued by me, and I intend to
put them into plants in the Old Reich. Since this is not a question of
utilization of labor in the ordinary sense, but an extremely important
national-political task, the accommodation of this group of persons cannot be
done in the usual way through the labor offices. For this reason I entrust the
Higher SS and Police Leaders in their capacity as my deputies for the
Strengthening of Germanism with this task of the distribution of people and at
the same time with the utilization of this group of persons.
In
particular I arrange for the following:
1. The selection of the
factories where these families of alien nationality are to be accommodated is
made by the Higher SS and Police Leader who, for this purpose, will secure the
assistance of the regional peasantry and labor offices. Only such factories
