In answer to your letter of 10 February, we wish
to inform you that the Vienenburg* * site suggested by you has been thoroughly
inspected by our specialists. According to the report, the site seems to be
well suited for the intended purpose. In compliance with your request, we have
had an estimate made of the process of concentration by means of sulfuric acid,
and have drafted the projects for a plant of 15,000 tons per year 1,250
tons per month; and 30,000 tons per year 2,500 tons per month, of nitric
acid. We have further had a draft made for the supplementary combustion plant,
so that the plant could work directly with primary ammonia. Costs for the
Vienenburg site are estimated at |
__________ * Vienenburg is located in
the Harz Mountains in Central Germany.
