| Among ourselves we feel that we should probably prefer full
exploitation [Ausschlaclltung] trusteeship. As regards the metal foundries,
there is nothing in Russia for the Metallgesellschaft except a small
experimental plant. The aluminum foundries, on the other hand, will probably
fall to the Vereinigte Aluminum Werke or the Hansa; and in view of the fact
that, as far as I have been informed, the raw material supply basis is very
unfavorably situated, the operation of these foundries will probably not be an
unmixed joy. |
