* Max Brueggemann was
indicted at the same time as the other defendants in the Farben case, but the
charges against Brueggemann were severed from the charges against the other
defendants by a Tribunal order of 9 September 1947. Both prosecution and
defense joined in requesting the severance because of Brueggemann's physical
inability to stand trial.
