Maurice HERBSTMANN was
born on January 17, 1937, in Strasbourg. His brother Léon was born on
December 13, 1943, in Vichy. They were deported on April 13, 1944, on
convoy 71, when Léon was only 4
months old. They were deported with their mother, Frieda, who came from
Budapest, and their grandmother. They lived at 17 rue d'Alsace in Vichy.
