VI. ORGANIZATION OF THE GERMAN MEDICAL
SERVICES
a. Introduction
The opening statement of the prosecution (pp. 27-74)
deals rather extensively with the organization of the Medical Service of
the Wehrmacht, the Medical Service of the SS, and the Civilian Health
Service. The, Ahnenerbe Society and the Institute for Military
Scientific Research, which was set up within the Ahnenerbe, are also
mentioned.
Evidence concerning the positions which the prosecution alleged the
defendants held is contained in its document book number one. Selections
from this document book are set forth on pages 81-91.
